Fajr International Film Festival: Submission Deadlines for 36th

Fajr International Film Festival has published its list of upcoming submission deadlines for 36th edition consideration.
Participants will have until March 1 to submit their completed application forms and until March 6 2018 their short and feature-length movies. The submission process may be initiated online at www.fajriff.com. In order to submit a film to the Festival, you have to send the film and the completed film entry form to the Festival before the given deadline.
According to the Festival’s News Agency, to be eligible for competition, Iranian movies must meet all qualifications in their respective categories, including requirements pertaining to theatrical releases and running times. Filmmakers should complete the online entry form by March 1 on the Festival’s official website. They should also submit their movies to the Secretariat of the annual event no later than March 6. There will be no more deadlines.
To be eligible to compete, feature-length movies (drama, documentary, animation) should be no longer than 70 minutes, and short movies (drama, documentary, animation) should be no longer than 15 minutes. The registered movies can compete in all categories, unless a director has said otherwise on his application form.
You can complete the online entry form and send its printed copy via post that has been signed by producer or distributor together with a copy of your film to the Secretariat before the deadlines. You cannot drop out of the Festival if your movie has been selected for screening. Standard versions for film download and review are Blu-ray and DVD.

Presided over by Iranian film writer and director Seyyed Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will be held in Tehran on April 19-27.
