Takefumi Tsutsui

Born in 1957, graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, he started to work as an assistant director and a film editor. In 1987, he made his theatrical debut with “The Great Adventure of Yumeko”. This film got a cult hit in Japan.Since then he has been directing numerous
fictional films, documentary films and commercials. From 2005, he has been teaching as a professor at the Tokyo University of Art Film School. “In a Lonely Planet” (2011) 35mm/ Color/ 94 minutes. “The Portrait of Bach” (2010) Documentary/ HD-CAM/Color/120minutes.
