A special panel titled “Contemporary Turkish Cinema” was held on Friday, November 28, at the Festival Palace in Shiraz as part of the Fajr International Film Festival. The session brought together Ceyhan Kandemir, university lecturer, media researcher, and television director, alongside filmmaker, cinema researcher, and author Arif Can Güngör, for a discussion on current trends and perspectives in Turkish cinema. The panel was moderated by Abdolhossein Laleh, an academic and theatre practitioner.
