Maestro Majid Entezami in Festival Palace

Renowned composer Majid Entezami has come back to the Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) after a decade hiatus, composing the film score for the flick “About Majnoon” in the 42nd edition of the event.
“I’m glad I attended the Festival because I’m very interested in the actors of this film and I love them,” said the maestro to the reporters.
“I tried not to miss the opportunity,” the composer further noted.
The movie “About Majnoon” depicts Zeineddin brothers. The two brothers, Mehdi and Majid, who fought in the Iraq-Iran war and were martyred on November 18, 1984.
The feature was directed by Mehdi Shamohammadi and was produced by Abbas Naderan.
Entezami has snatched Crystal Simorgh for composing music for the features “The Glass Agency”, “The Fateful Day”, “The Cyclist” and “The Insane Flew Away”.
The four-time winning composer has written film scores for over 80 cinematic works since the 1970s.
