Speaking in the same gathering Atashzamzam, the director said it was the life and the lively colors of Bangladesh that inspired me to write down the story. The first thing caught my attention in Dhaka was the transportation system. I was not feeling comfortable to ride on rickshaw and I felt the urge to write about it. Mumit helped me a lot through this way. He has already translated 40 Iranian films for Bangladeshi audience and is so experienced.
Cast and crew members of “Beautiful Lies” also lauded Iran during the press conference.
Mumit Al Rashid, the film script writer, made some remarks in this regard, stating “I’m thrilled to be with you in this event.”
“I’ve always regarded Iran as my second home,” he further noted.
Jaya Ahsan, the actress indicated “I am really happy to be invited to your country, a country that loves cinema and enjoys very good filmmakers like Abbas Kiarostami, Dariush Mehrjui and Majid Majidi”.
Suman Faruque, the actor also expressed his love for Iran. He said I have already been here four times. I have many good Iranian friends and I prefer to work as an actor in Iran as I am fond of Iranian cinema. Iranian films are so realistic and everything on set looks so natural and real.
