Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili held a dinner reception on Thursday (Feb.9,2023) attended by the director of 41st FIF, Mojtaba Amini, filmmakers and foreign guests at Parsian Azadi Hotel.
Addressing the gathering, Amini appreciated artists for their presence in 41st Fajr International Film Festival in the beginning of the reception.
Amini also hailed the Syria, China, Russia, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Venezuela, Yemen and Malaysia diplomats for attending the ceremony.
In the meantime, Director of Cinema Organization of Iran, Mohammad Khazaei, said that 41st edition of Fajr International Film Festival has focused on its partner countries, and we think we have succeeded in achieving our goals.
Khazaei underscored that new poles are being formed, expressing hope for mutual cooperation in the field of cinema.
In the end of the ceremony, the Iranian minister said that in Iranian society, culture and art have the highest position, and cultural and artistic figures are among the most popular figures in Iran.
The FIFF is a major film event, which is organized every year to celebrate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Presided by Mojtaba Amini, the 41st Fajr International Film Festival will be held from February 1-11, 2023, in Tehran.
