The cinematic work “Parvin” depicts the Iranian cultural heritage, says the director of the movie Mohammad-Reza Varzi who has participated in the 42nd edition of the Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).
Commenting on the theme of the film “Parvin”, Varzi has said that Ezzatollah Zarghami, Iran’s Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism had suggested working on Iranian cuisine and traditional handicrafts in the work.
“We chose Parvin Etesami, a contemporary Persian poet, as the theme of the movie as she is considered a prominent figure in the Iranian culture,” he underlined.
“A lot of locations like Cinema and Television Town (Ghazali) and some in suburbs of Tehran were used to produce the flick,” he said.
