“The Heart of Raqqah” a Romantic Drama Set in Terror & Violence

The director of “The Heart of Raqqah” Kheirollah Taqianipour has described its work as “a romantic drama” taking place in an atmosphere full of terror and violence .Taqianipour made the remarks on the sidelines of the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).Movie buffs are interested in romance when it comes to various film genres, he said, predicting that the audience would like the work. The viewers expressed satisfaction on social media about the flick, he stated. Touching on the shooting of the work, he said that we had nearly 20 filming sessions in Tehran and 40 in Syria, Iranian cities of Kashan and Chabahar were the other locations. The film has been dedicated to Martyr Seyyed Razi Mousavi.Farhad Qaemian, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Hedayat Hashemi, Abdolreza Nasseri, Mostafa Sassani, and Shadi Mokhtari are among the cast members of the cinematic work. Presided by Mojtaba Amini, the 42nd edition of Iran’s largest annual film festival will be held from February 1-11, 2024, in Tehran.
